Napoli. Yesterday afternoon, an officer from the Police Station Posillipo, off duty, while driving along via Alessandro Manzoni he noticed two individuals who, having arrived on a scooter, were approaching a parked motorcycle and tinkering with it.
Suspicious of the scene, the officer promptly alerted his colleagues at the local police station.
The officers intervened quickly, managing to track down and stop the two suspects. During the search, they were found to be in possession of various burglary tools and it was found that they had forced the steering lock and the ignition switch of the motorcycle.
Those arrested are a 35-year-old from Capua and a 30-year-old Romanian, both with police records. They were arrested for aggravated theft and reported for receiving stolen goods and unjustified possession of burglary tools.
Furthermore, the scooter used by the two was found to have no documents, with the chassis number completely erased, which is why it was seized.
