The autopsy on the body of Janan Suliman, the 25-year-old Israeli-Palestinian woman and the first of the four victims of the dramatic accident at the Faito cable car, has concluded in the morgue of the Castellammare di Stabia cemetery.
A deep pain, which marks the beginning of a long journey towards judicial and human truth.
Janan had undertaken that race with his brother Thabet, 23 years old, now hospitalized in desperate conditions at the Ospedale del Mare in Naples. The Public Prosecutor's Office of Torre Annunziata, led by prosecutor Nunzio Fragliasso, entrusted the autopsy – considered a non-repeatable investigation – to coroner Nicola Giorgio, subsequently authorizing the return of the body to the family.
Before returning home, scheduled for the evening, the young woman will be prepared according to the Islamic rite, with the washing of the body and the wrapping in a scented linen cloth. A simple ceremony but imbued with spirituality, at the end of a day of pain and meditation. Meanwhile, the investigations continue, with the aim of shedding full light on a tragedy that has shaken the entire country.

I hope the investigations will lead to clear results. It is a complicated time for everyone, especially for Janan's family, who lost a loved one in such a tragic way.
The autopsy is a difficult thing and makes you reflect on the pain of the families involved. It is important that there is justice for Janan and her brother. The situation is very sad and I am very sorry.
