Naples – A night of blood and mystery has shocked the suburbs of Naples, where two women were found with gunshot wounds in circumstances that investigators believe may be connected.
An attempted murder-suicide hypothesis is gaining traction as the Carabinieri try to shed light on the incident.
The first alarm was raised in via Don Luigi Sturzo, in the territory of Naples, where a 31-year-old woman was found inside a car, seriously injured by a gunshot. Her conditions were judged desperate by the rescuers, who rushed her to the Ospedale del Mare, where she is now in danger of life.
Shortly after, a short distance away, but already in the municipality of Naples, in via Pinocchio, an even more tragic discovery was made: a 34-year-old woman was found on the ground, lifeless, also hit by a bullet.
In both cases, the intervention was Carabinieri of the Torre del Greco Company, who immediately began investigations. Investigators are working to reconstruct the precise dynamics of the events and the origin of this double tragedy.
The proximity of the places where the bodies were found and the nature of the wounds lead investigators not to exclude a direct connection between the two episodes.
The hypothesis of an attempted murder-suicide is being examined, although at the moment no further details or official confirmations have been provided.
