Penitentiary officer originally from Cervinara dies in the province of Cuneo
Ifatal road accident for motorcyclist Guido Giovanni Marro, 31 years old, a prison officer originally from Cervinara, in the province of Avellino.
Last night Marro was riding his powerful Kawasaki when he violently collided with a Jeep SUV along a road in the province of Cuneo.
The man flew meters away from the impact and collapsed to the ground. The impact was very violent. Unfortunately, the attempts to revive him by the 118 emergency service crew were in vain, who also called in the helicopter rescue service and alongside whom the volunteers of the local Fire Brigade detachment worked. Marro was an agent of Penitentiary Police on duty at the Saluzzo District Prison. His many friends from the province of Avellino and his work colleagues remember him on social media today.
