LOS ANGELES – The atmosphere is scorching hot at Inter's American retreat, but this time it's not the heat. Francesco Acerbi was the one who inflamed the atmosphere, the protagonist of a heavy exchange of words with a fan who had shown up at the event dedicated to autographs and selfies wearing a Paris Saint-Germain jersey.
A provocation? Maybe. But the Nerazzurri defender's reaction was way beyond the limits: “I'm crazy, I'll beat you up”, Acerbi thundered in front of dozens of people present, while the cameras immortalized the scene that went viral on social media in a few minutes. The episode, which occurred in Los Angeles, raised a storm among fans and insiders.
The Inter centre-back, who evidently hasn't yet fully digested the defeat in the Champions League final against PSG, let loose an angry outburst, visibly annoyed by the reference to Barcola, the French winger who had put him in difficulty on that painful European night.
A moment that is anything but serene for Acerbi, who had already come under the spotlight for the case related to the failure to call him up to the national team by the then coach Spalletti, an episode that generated a heated exchange on social media between the defender and the FIGC. Now, with this new public blunder, the defender risks further compromising his image.

I don't understand why Acerbi reacted that way, maybe he's tired of all the pressure. The situation could have been handled differently, there's no point in using such strong words against a fan, it's unprofessional.
