Cintense aldo and maximum alert coming to part of the country. For tomorrow, the Ministry of Health reports a "red" alert level - the highest - for the cities of Perugia, Bolzano and Campobasso, where extreme weather conditions are expected with concrete risks for the health of even healthy people.
This was reported in the bulletin on heat waves published by the ministry, which instead signals the "orange" alert level for Bologna, Brescia, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Rieti, Rome and Turin.
In these cities, the heat could represent a danger especially for the most vulnerable subjects, such as the elderly, small children and people with chronic diseases.
The “yellow” level, considered pre-alert, has been assigned to Milan, Messina, Naples, Palermo, Reggio Calabria, Verona and Viterbo.
The red level — corresponding to emergency level 3 — is activated in the presence of persistent heat waves and critical environmental conditions, potentially dangerous for the entire population, not just for the vulnerable categories. The invitation from health authorities is to limit exposure to the sun during the hottest hours, stay hydrated and follow the prevention guidelines issued by the Ministry.

The article talks about intense heat and maximum alert, but I don't understand why there are different levels of alert. It is important that everyone knows how to behave in these cases, even those who are not fragile.
