Varcaturo – A Sunday of sea and relaxation turned into tragedy on the coast between Varcaturo and Castel Volturno.
In the early afternoon today, Sunday 8 June 2025, a young man was stabbed in the stomach inside a beach resort: he died shortly after being admitted to hospital.
The episode, which arose for trivial reasons, has thrown many people into despair bathers present.
The dynamics and the desperate rush to the hospital
The alarm was raised around 13:XNUMX p.m. According to initial reports, an argument preceded the fatal attack. The boy, whose identity has not yet been revealed, was violently stabbed in the abdomen with a knife.
Immediately rescued, he was rushed to the emergency room of the Santa Maria delle Grazie hospital in Pozzuoli. Despite the doctors' attempts to save his life, the young man died shortly after due to the very serious injuries he had suffered.
Hunt for the attacker: investigations and social alarm
The police arrived on the scene and immediately began investigations to find the person responsible for the stabbing. Investigators are gathering testimonies from those present and analyzing images recorded by CCTV cameras at the beach and surrounding areas.
Although there is no official confirmation yet, it seems that the alleged attacker has already been identified and his capture could be imminent.
