Raoul Bova
A defense that smacks of defiance and legal revenge: Raoul Bova has decided to say enough to the public humiliation and has filed a formal complaint with the Privacy Guarantor against a series of entities, including prominent names such as Fabrizio Corona, Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, X, Ryanair, SSC Napoli and Torino FC. As anticipated by La Repubblica, the actor contests the "illicit dissemination, exploitation and ridicule of personal and confidential content", which has transformed him, despite himself, into a target of gossip and digital pillorying.
Representing him is a figure who is anything but neutral: the lawyer Annamaria Bernardini de Pace, a renowned matrimonial lawyer and his former mother-in-law, who explained her decision thus: "It's a tool the law offers. And Raoul did the right thing: he reported the case, as he should, without giving in to blackmail."
A sensational move, involving global platforms, sports clubs, and media jet-set personalities, and which could set a significant precedent in the relationship between privacy, celebrity, and the right to one's image. Raoul Bova, silent until today, sends a clear message: the boundaries of privacy are no man's land, not even for the powerful of the web.
