Arzano – In a large area, well hidden by the ramps of the Asse Mediano, several wrecks and cars are visible, clearly the proceeds of illicit activities.
To get there and see this real mess, just enter Via Pietro Nenni in Casoria and take the avenue that leads to the former ACTP depot, in the countryside crossed by the ramps of the SP1.
Three car wrecks, or perhaps more cannibalized ones, in the background represents one of the problems plaguing the area north of Naples, which is grappling with car thieves. Even the complaints from environmental groups, which often point out how impossible it is to ignore the damage taking place on the land, aren't enough.
Temporary hideout for the "returning horses" gang
Where there are car carcasses there are also places used by criminals, real teams, to cannibalize the same cars in a very short time or even worse used as a temporary hideout for the so-called "returning horses".
And indeed, on the surrounding land, there are still the remains of even recent construction work. The areas were carefully chosen, of course, because they are far from prying eyes but easy to reach. Meanwhile, amid protests and complaints from residents, the removal of these vehicles is awaited.

I read the article about the car wrecks and agree that it's a serious problem for the area. However, I wonder why the authorities don't act more quickly to resolve this situation, which seems to have become unsustainable over time.
