AVELLINO – Another ATM theft in the province of Avellino. During the night, criminals targeted the ATM at the Montecalvo Irpino post office, using the "groundhog" technique.
A controlled explosion ripped through the counter, raising alarm among residents of Viale Pini. The blast, which was clearly felt, prompted residents to immediately contact law enforcement.
On the spot were attended by i police, who have launched an investigation and are analyzing footage from local surveillance cameras to identify those responsible. The amount of the loot has yet to be determined. Authorities are continuing their investigation to reconstruct the events of the raid and identify the culprits.

This is very interesting news, but I don't understand how such things can happen in such a peaceful place. Safety is important, and the authorities should do more to protect citizens from these fear-inducing events.
