CAserta – The wild boar invasion has now exceeded the limits of tolerance. Fields have been devastated, crops destroyed, herds increasingly close to homes and the daily lives of citizens. Coldiretti Caserta has said enough is enough and has taken its protest directly to the Campania Region.
The pressure worked: the regional councilor for agriculture, Nicola Caputo, called a crucial meeting for Tuesday, July 30th, at 11:XNUMX a.m. at the offices of the Naples Business District. On the agenda was the wildlife emergency and, in particular, the chaos related to selective hunting in the Caserta ATC, which was suspended in recent weeks, with serious repercussions also in other provinces of Campania.
Next to Coldiretti Caserta there will also be representatives of the Veterinary Service of the Caserta Local Health Authority and officials of the regional offices for Hunting, Fishing, Aquaculture, Zootechnics and Animal Welfare.
"The situation has become unsustainable," Coldiretti reports. "Wild boars are invading residential areas, destroying entire crops, and endangering road and personal safety. We need a serious plan, clear rules, and, above all, concrete action."
The farmers' association expects the July 30th meeting to mark a turning point. "Now, no more delays. We expect answers from the Region, not promises."
The war against wild boars has begun. And this time, leading the assault are those who actually farm the land.

I read the article and think the situation is truly complicated. Wild boars are causing serious problems for farmers and residents alike. We hope that Tuesday's meeting will lead to effective solutions to this problem.
