NIn the evocative setting of the Golden Mile, the Vesuvian Villas Festival confirms itself as an unmissable event, captivating the public with a mix of art, music, and history within the walls of eighteenth-century villas.

The first evenings were incredibly well attended, with spectators captivated by the fusion of theater, poetry, and Baroque architecture, in a festive and engaging atmosphere.

The quality and variety of the artistic offerings, curated by director Bruno Tabacchini in collaboration with president Gennaro Miranda and the Fondazione Ente Ville Vesuviane, have made the event a success. Anticipation for the week's rich program is high.

We start on Tuesday 15th July at Villa Campolieto with the national premiere of “Il fuoco di Pound”, a text by Roberto Russo with Gigi Savoia, Francesco Maria Cordella and Graziano Purgante, directed by Fabrizio Bancale.

A show exploring the tormented life of Ezra Pound, between poetic genius and controversy. On Wednesday, July 16, also at Villa Campolieto, "Spariamo da ogni luogo mefitico di mediocrità" (Let's Spare from Every Mephitic Place of Mediocrity) will be performed, an impossible interview with Tommaso Marinetti, conceived by Corrado Veneziano with Francesca Barbi Marinetti and performed by Marco Prosperini, in a tribute to Futurism through words and provocations.

On Thursday, July 17th, Palazzo Vallelonga will host the "Concert of the Two Sicilies" with Patrizio Trampetti, Alfio Antico, and Jennà Romano, a musical journey that blends Mediterranean tradition and experimentation. On Friday, July 18th, at Villa Campolieto, the NeaCo' ensemble will present a "fairytale concert," reinterpreting Neapolitan song with a modern twist, from blues to world music.

On Saturday, July 19, at Palazzo Bisignano, Ciro Sciallo will thrill with the recital “Tra le righe del mio cuore,” a dialogue between poetry and music taken from his book of the same name. The grand finale of the week, on Sunday, July 20, at Villa Campolieto, will feature a double event: at 19:30 pm, “Infinito Petito – Tre surice dint' a no mastrillo,” directed by Riccardo Citro, a contemporary reinterpretation of Antonio Petito's Pulcinella;

At 20:30 p.m., the Almatanz dance company's Grand Gala will perform, featuring a repertoire ranging from classical to modern. The festival, which will continue until July 27, continues to celebrate the beauty of the Bourbon residences, transforming the Golden Mile into a stage for art and culture.

The article is very interesting, but I'm not sure the program is very clear. Some events seem to overlap, and more details on the dates would be helpful. Regardless, the festival seems promising for art lovers.
