A minor was reported for attempted scooter theft.
NAPLES – They were suspiciously wandering among the scooters parked along Via Marechiaro, but their behavior didn't go unnoticed by the Carabinieri of the Naples mobile radio unit. When the patrol approached for a check, one of the two teenagers attempted to get rid of a switchblade and fled.
The officers, however, managed to apprehend him a few meters later. The young man, just 14 years old, was found in possession of a terminal block he had just ripped from a scooter. This detail was immediately confirmed in the complaint filed by a woman who had reported the attempted theft of her scooter.
Meanwhile, the other boy managed to escape on a Sym Symphony, which was later found nearby: it too had been stolen. The weapon was seized, and the minor was charged with receiving stolen goods and illegal possession of a weapon. After the formalities, he was released to his parents. Investigations are continuing to identify the fleeing accomplice.

It's incredible how kids can commit such acts. Security on the streets of Naples should be better monitored. I hope the young man can reflect on his actions and improve in the future.
