Napoli– The eighth training year of the DIGITA Academy, the program born in 2017 from the partnership between the University of Naples Federico II and Deloitte.
The day's highlights included the 44 new graduates, who celebrated their graduation with the traditional toss of the cap on the San Giovanni a Teduccio university campus.
This is also a significant result in terms of employment: placement rates reached 97%, confirming the effectiveness of the training model, which combines theory, practice, and close collaboration with businesses, with a growing focus on Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation.
Student Projects: From Marketing AI to Conversational Chatbots
During the Project Work Road Show, the graduates presented 35 projects, the result of their work with partner companies. Among these, the following stand out:
People, Hub, Solaria Agent Builder, and Metaverse, built with Deloitte's GenAI Center of Excellence to develop advanced generative AI solutions.
A project with BhBlasted for an AI capable of creating autonomous and proactive marketing campaigns.
The Lora Bot chatbot, developed with UNITIVA, is capable of analyzing CVs and calculating compatibility with open positions.
An intelligent virtual assistant designed with IDIR & IConsulting, capable of responding in natural language using company documentation.
The speakers and the institutional message
The ceremony in the Aula Magna featured speakers including Antonio Pescapè, Scientific Director of the DIGITA Academy, Matteo Zanza (Deloitte), and Alessandro Lizzi, head of the Deloitte Naples office. Giorgia Gusmeroli, Director of Deloitte Consulting, moderated the ceremony. Giuseppe Recinto, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Education and Merit, also participated via video link.
The diplomas were awarded by Vice-Rector Angela Zampella, who announced the opening of the call for applications for the 2025-2026 edition:
"We're proud of the journey our students have made. We imagine them returning here one day, not just as professionals, but as managers capable of restoring value to the ecosystem that educated them," he said. "Be hungry for knowledge; that's the most important thing."
Numbers and impact: a growing model
Over the course of eight editions, the DIGITA Academy has trained over 650 and students and involved more than 180 companies, becoming a nationally recognized business innovation hub. The 2024-2025 edition saw contributions from organizations such as BhBlasted, Capri Group, Conexo, Graded, IConsulting, I.DI.R., INIZIATIVA Cube, PA Advice, Petrone Group, UNITIVA, Vuolo Taddeo, and Zest Innovation.
"This year we've focused on AI, applying it to a variety of fields: from public administration to logistics to sustainability," emphasized Antonio Pescapè. "Today we're also launching the DIGITA Alumni network and officially opening applications for the 11th edition."
For Alessandro Lizzi of Deloitte: "The synergy with the University of Federico II is a solid partnership, founded on initiatives, values, and concrete impact. A collaboration that has generated jobs and widespread growth."

I like the idea of the Lora Bot chatbot; it seems very useful for businesses. It would be interesting to see how it works in practice and if any results have already been achieved.
I also wonder how they find jobs after graduation. The placement rate is high, but it would be helpful to know what types of companies hire these graduates.
The article is very interesting, but I'm not sure what opportunities there are for students who complete this program. I hope to have more information on this in the future.
