RAoul Bova isn't having it and could soon end up in court with Ryanair and Napoli. The reason? The "improper" use of his private voice messages, which have been the subject of an investigation for attempted extortion and have become the subject of ridicule on the two clubs' social media platforms.
According to Repubblica, the actor's lawyers are preparing legal action after Ryanair posted a phrase on X that echoed the tone of the audio (Good morning special passengers with the wonderful smile and the wide eyes, have you downloaded the app?), while Napoli has reportedly included an excerpt in a TikTok video dedicated to new signing Kevin De Bruyne.
The investigation and Martina Ceretti's position
Meanwhile, the Rome prosecutor's office continues its investigation into the stolen audio. Investigators interviewed Martina Ceretti, the influencer with whom Bova he would have had the conversation privately, confiscating her phone.
The woman allegedly explained that she shared the chats with a friend in good faith, with no ulterior motives. However, it was this very contact who spread the messages in a distorted manner, triggering what could amount to extortion.
Bova's lawyer: "It's a hellish machine, it's the Wild West of social media."
David Leggi, the actor's lawyer, harshly attacked the media's handling of the affair: "A hellish machine has been activated that continues to spread content whose nature is yet to be ascertained, affecting individuals and families who are defenseless against the voyeurism of social media." This clear stance suggests a legal battle is on the way.
The case, which began as a private matter, is turning into a test of the limits of fair use on social media. And now, with a potential lawsuit looming, Naples and Ryanair may have to answer in court.
