TTorre Annunziata – The quick intervention of a citizen and the timely intervention of the State Police allowed them to apprehend a man caught in the act of committing a car theft. The incident occurred yesterday morning in Piazza Nicotera, Torre Annunziata.
The agents of the police station t, during the territory control service, they were alerted by a note received at the local Operations Room, which reported a theft in progress on a car.
Upon arriving at the scene, the police were approached by a person who reported having caught the suspect rummaging through a parked car and stealing its contents.
Thanks to the witness's information, the officers were quickly able to locate and arrest the man. He is a 27-year-old Moroccan national, already known to law enforcement for previous convictions, including for aggravated theft. During the operation, the officers also recovered two large bags containing the stolen goods.
For these reasons, the suspect was arrested. Furthermore, it emerged that the man had also failed to comply with an order from the Rome Police Chief to leave the country, for which he was further charged.

It's strange how there are always people who try to steal, but in this case, well done to the citizen who notified the police. Let's hope these incidents never happen again. Safety is important to all of us.
