LEuropean Commission President Ursula von der Leyen flew to China to meet Xi Jinping.
La Von der Leyen He emphasized the growth in cooperation between the two countries over the last fifty years and the fact that China and the EU are currently two of the major global economic powers.
And in this regard, he pointed out that bilateral trade in goods between the two countries exceeds 2 billion euros a day. Chinese President Xi Jinping, aware of the accelerating transformation of an ever-changing world, expressed hope that the two powers would choose the most strategically appropriate course of action.
There was no shortage of discussion of issues of capital importance such as climate change and renewable energy.
