Attempted theft and threats in Arzano
Arzano– A night of terror on a street in Arzano, where an attempted carjacking escalated into violence. Shortly after midnight, a group of hooded, gun-wielding thugs targeted a parked Ferrari.
But what was supposed to be a quick hit turned into a challenge to the community.
Residents, noticing the scene, attempted to react by shouting from their balconies to scare the thieves away. The criminals' response, however, was shocking: instead of fleeing, they headed straight for the building, attempting to break down the gate with iron poles and threatening to rob the residents. "We want your watches!" they reportedly shouted, according to a witness.
“It was terrible,” a woman told MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli. “I never imagined I’d feel threatened in my own home by armed people.”
The criminals only left when a group of young people on scooters arrived, shortly before the police cars reached the scene.
Borrelli (Green-Left Alliance) himself raised the alarm, having received a report from residents. "These criminals are dangerous and unrestrained, they fear nothing," the MP denounced. "Instead of fleeing, they attacked an entire building, putting innocent lives at risk. This is a very serious incident that demonstrates the urgency of decisive action."
Borrelli called for immediate action: "We need tough measures, an iron fist, against increasingly unscrupulous criminals. These individuals must be identified and stopped before the irreparable happens."
What happened in Arzano isn't just a simple theft attempt, but a worrying sign: the challenge to the law is now coming to our doorstep, with armed gangs ready to threaten defenseless civilians.
If first the thieves They fled at the first sign of fear, now they respond with intimidation and violence. This trend requires an urgent rethink on security, before other neighborhoods become Wild West-like scenarios.
