Lookman's move: Napoli in pole position, bookmakers say they're the team of the year.

NApoli dreams big. With Inter out of contention and Ademola Lookman increasingly distant from Atalanta, Antonio Conte's club is ready to make a move that would ignite the transfer market and the fans' enthusiasm.

The 27-year-old Nigerian striker, fresh from high-level seasons in Bergamo but now at odds with the environment, is the first Azzurri target to be finalized by September 1st. And this time it's not just a suggestion: bookmakers, Agipronews reports, have Napoli in pole position with odds of 2,75 on Planetwin365.

Igor Tudor's Juventus are much further behind, with odds of 8, and Massimiliano Allegri's AC Milan are even further behind, with odds of 15 on Snai. Gian Piero Gasperini's Roma are also rated the same, a possibility that would bring Lookman back under the guidance of the coach with whom he wrote important chapters at Atalanta.

An extra weapon for Conte

The arrival of Lookman, quick, technical, and lethal in the final third, would provide Conte with an offensive weapon capable of transforming the attack and further enhancing the team's quality. With him, Napoli would be well on their way to a season as a key player, both in Italy and in Europe.
