Casoria, three young men charged after fleeing the wrong way and crashing into a guardrail.

Casoria - Officers from the Casoria police station were conducting a traffic check in Piazza Dante when they ordered a passing Fiat Punto to stop. The driver, however, did not stop and fled through the city streets.

In an attempt to evade control, the car drove the wrong way down the ramp of the outer ring road toward Naples. After a few kilometers, the vehicle lost control and crashed into the guardrail.
The driver was a 17-year-old with no criminal record and no license. He was accompanied by a 21-year-old and another 17-year-old, both with no criminal record. None of the three were injured in the crash.
