Over €3 million from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport for road safety in small towns in Campania

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (MIT) has allocated €3.260.000 in funding to 23 small municipalities in Campania for road safety and maintenance projects. This funding is part of the 2025 ranking of the "Road Investment Fund in Small Municipalities," a fund designed for municipalities with populations of up to 5.000, with contributions not exceeding €150 for each project.

The fund, strongly supported by Minister Salvini, aims to improve road safety in less urbanized areas, a priority emphasized by the Minister himself, who highlighted how this virtuous path is being pursued despite the challenges associated with the international context and the rising cost of raw materials.

The municipalities receiving funding in Campania are: Sassano, Calvi, Paternopoli, Sturno, Pesco Sannita, Campolattaro, Cuccaro Vetere, Campora, Mignano Monte Lungo, Foiano di Val Fortore, Sant'Arcangelo Trimonte, Caselle in Pittari, Cerreto Sannita, Castelnuovo Cilento, Puglianello, Auletta, San Michele di Serino, Galluccio, Salento, Castel Campagnano, Prata di Principato Ultra, Moschiano, and Chianche.
