Phone scams: Salerno Local Health Authority warns: "Do not call suspicious numbers."

New telephone scam alert in the Salerno area. The Salerno Local Health Authority (ASL) has reported numerous attempts by individuals falsely claiming to be operators of the Single Booking Center, using numbers that cannot be traced back to the company.

According to the Local Health Authority (ASL), in some cases, citizens are being asked to call back the numbers used during calls. This can lead to unusual charges and a rapid depletion of phone credit.

The health authority therefore urges users to exercise extreme caution: "Do not call suspicious or unknown numbers; do not provide personal or banking information or access codes; always verify contact details through official Salerno ASL channels."

The warning is aimed particularly at the elderly and vulnerable, who are often targeted by this type of scam.
