Ottaviano, major joint check: 158 identified and one escorted to the CPR
A territorial control operation was carried out yesterday morning in Ottaviano, conducted jointly by officers of the State Police (San Giuseppe Vesuviano Police Station), the Carabinieri, and the Local Police. The operation aimed to verify compliance with safety regulations and monitor sensitive situations in the area.
During the operation, 158 people were identified, 33 of whom had previous police records; 82 vehicles were inspected, one of which was impounded; four traffic violations were reported, and a driver's license was revoked.
One non-EU citizen was taken to a CPR (Research and Treatment Center). Finally, 10 individuals subject to restrictive measures or alternatives to detention were checked. The operation is part of a territorial control strategy aimed at combating illegal conduct and protecting public safety, without violating anyone's rights.
