Bellizzi: young man arrested by police for drug dealing

NYesterday, personnel from the investigative team of the Public Safety Police Station of Battipaglia, during targeted activities aimed at countering the widespread phenomenon of the marketing of narcotic substances, arrested AD, aged 20, resident in the municipality of Bellizzi, held responsible for the crime of possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing.
The young man, following a personal and vehicle search carried out in Bellizzi, was found in possession of 17 cellophane packages containing cocaine weighing 5.3 grams, a block of hashish weighing 103 grams, a perfectly functioning digital scale and cellophane used to package doses of drugs to be sold at retail.
For these reasons, AD, with a criminal record for attempted murder, theft and receiving stolen goods, was declared under arrest pursuant to art. 73 of Presidential Decree 309/90 and, as ordered by the Public Prosecutor on duty at the local Public Prosecutor's Office, was placed at his home, under house arrest, pending the summary trial to be held before the Court of Salerno.
