Robbery with shots in Quarto betting shop: fourth member of the gang also arrested

Qfourth. The fourth accomplice in the robbery that took place in a Quarto betting hall the night of July 20th when the robbers almost killed an employee. The arrest took place in Pomigliano D'Arco, by the Carabinieri who handcuffed Salvatore Somma, a 33-year-old Neapolitan, in execution of the Order of Precautionary Detention issued by the Court of Naples, for the crimes of aggravated robbery and attempted murder in competition. The measure arose from the investigations conducted by the military of the Carabinieri Company of Pozzuoli, directed and coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples, Seventh Section, on the robbery committed at approximately 00,05 on July 20th, in the betting shop located in Quarto where the employee Diego Scaramuzzo was seriously injured. The evidence collected, thanks also to the analysis of images from private video surveillance systems, allowed us to build a solid evidentiary framework against the two cousins ​​of the same name, Beniamino Cipolletta, both Neapolitans aged 22 and 18, against the 28-year-old Neapolitan Vincenzo Baia, and subsequently against Salvatore Somma as the last member of the gang of robbers. His task during the robbery was to drive the gang's car. Furthermore, while the robbery was taking place, Somma hid the car and positioned it so that he could escape more quickly and while waiting for the escape, he acted as a "lookout" for his accomplices. Somma was locked up in the Poggioreale prison.
