I carabinieri di Qualiano insieme al personale del servizio veterinario dell’ASL NA2 Nord hanno denunciato due imprenditori agricoli del posto per maltrattamento di animali e smaltimento illecito di rifiuti.

During an inspection carried out at a farm in the Qualiano area, the operators found that 60 pigs were being raised in very poor health and hygiene conditions.

The animals were crammed into very narrow boxes where they had no freedom of movement, among their excrement and various waste.

Sewage and organic waste from livestock were dumped directly into the public sewer system. The entire business was seized.
