The anti-racket association “Pianura per la legalità in memoria di Gigi e Poalo” expresses satisfaction for the arrest order notified today by the Carabinieri of Naples to three alleged extortionists of the Camorra. The association, founded twenty years ago, also expresses “its strongest thanks to the entrepreneur and the Carabinieri of Pianura for the important report and subsequent arrests that reaffirm the strong will to reiterate the no to racketeering in our neighborhood.
This episode highlights how reporting allows one to escape extortion and free the neighbourhood from criminals who believe they can live as parasites on the backs of free and honest economic operators".
“Together with the gratitude to the Neapolitan Anti-Mafia District Attorney's Office and the Carabinieri, the association renews its invitation to all those who may have been the target of extortion requests in recent weeks to turn with confidence to the police and our organization in order to affirm their freedom and dignity as free and courageous men and economic operators”, concludes the association.
