Coffins in the stream: 12 more coffins recovered, total rises to 115

In the cemetery of St. Agatha of Goths, in the province of Benevento, the recovery operations of the coffins and ossuary boxes that ended up in the valley below following the collapse of the wing of the block of burial niches called “longo 1” continue.

Another 12 coffins have been recovered and identified, which, added to those already recovered, brings the total number of recoveries to 115. In the meantime, special earthmoving vehicles are being positioned today to allow the recovery of the coffins still trapped in the collapsed block.
