Car crash in Caserta province: 2 young people dead

The toll is two dead in a road accident that occurred last night in Alife, in the Caserta area, on provincial road 331.

Two cars collided head-on and the three occupants - two boys driving and a girl sitting in the passenger seat - remained trapped in the wreckage; the Caserta firefighters (Piedimonte Matese detachment) intervened on site and operated with the aid of the spreaders and shears provided, managing to free the trapped people.

However, there was nothing that could be done for the two drivers of the cars. The Carabinieri of Piedimonte Matese are investigating and are trying to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident
