Rail traffic suspended between Salerno and Battipaglia

Changes to the circulation of regional and long-distance trains on the Naples – Salerno – Battipaglia. To allow for maintenance and infrastructure improvement work, rail traffic is suspended between the stations of Salerno and Battipaglia from 19.50:18 on Saturday 07 November to 00:20 on Monday XNUMX November. The circulation schedule of AV, Intercity, Intercity Notte and Regional trains will be modified.

In particular, trains on the following routes may be subject to changes, route limitations or cancellations: • High speed trains on the Turin Porta Nuova/ Milan Central – Potenza Central/ Taranto, Venice Santa Lucia/ Turin Porta Nuova/ Milan Central / Rome Termini – Reggio Calabria Central, Sibari – Bolzano route; • Intercity trains on the Rome Termini – Potenza Central / Taranto, Rome Termini – Reggio Calabria Central/ Palermo Central/ Syracuse, Milan Central – Reggio Calabria Central route; • Intercity Night trains on the Turin Porta Nuova – Reggio Calabria Central, Milan Central – Syracuse/Palermo Central, Rome Termini – Syracuse/Palermo Central route; • Regional trains on the Naples Central – Salerno – Potenza Central, Naples – Taranto, Naples Central – Cosenza/ Paola/ Sapri, Caserta – Battipaglia routes and some regional trains Naples Central – Rome Termini.

The service will be rescheduled, replaced with buses and changes to the timetable will increase travel times, also in relation to road traffic.
