Cafiero De Raho, former national anti-mafia prosecutor, has rejected the accusations that he is involved in the investigation into the alleged dossier.
According to De Raho, the opposition's requests for clarification are just an attempt to attack their political alignment. The former prosecutor stressed that all the contested accesses occurred outside the National Directorate, thus demonstrating that the dossier was outside of his jurisdiction.
De Raho stated that the insinuations regarding his involvement are instrumental and only serve to hit the opposition. De Raho stated the need to shed light on the affair and identify who was really behind these accesses.
He also highlighted the responsibility of the political parties involved in the use of this information. The complexity of the National Prosecutor's Office and the multiplicity of areas of competence underline that pointing it out is only an attempt to attack the opposition by the government majority.
