Abodi: “European Championship? Our goal is to defend the title with honor”

In an interview today on Timeline on Rai 3, Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi expressed his expectations for the European Football Championships, which began yesterday. Interviewed by Marco Carrara, Abodi discussed the challenges and hopes for the national team, emphasizing the unpredictable nature of football and the intense competition at the European level.

"Football is incomprehensible. There are many other European clubs that want to compete with us," Abodi said , highlighting the difficulty of the competition. Despite this, the minister has set his primary goal as "doing well and defending the title of defending champions with honor."

Abodi also emphasized the team's youth and the presence of a new coach, known for his strong character. "It's a young team, with a new coach with a lot of character.
