NYesterday, as part of the control services set up by the Naples Police Headquarters to ensure safety in the nightlife areas, officers from the Vomero and Arenella Police Stations, in collaboration with the Local Police, carried out a series of checks in the Vomero neighborhood. The operation involved in particular the areas of San Martino, Piazza Vanvitelli, Piazza Medaglie D'Oro and Via Giordano, Via Scarlatti and Via Falcone.
During the service, 77 people were identified, 11 of whom had a police record and 3 were subjected to restrictive measures such as house arrest or house arrest. 8 commercial establishments were checked, with one of them administratively sanctioned for illegal occupation of public land. In addition, 23 vehicles were checked, 4 of which were subjected to administrative seizure.
The operations also led to the notification of 17 violations of the Highway Code, mainly for lack of insurance coverage, driving without a protective helmet and no parking.
