Fake counselor reported in Avellino: he offered psychological support without a qualification

A 59-year-old man from Avellino was reported by the Carabinieri of the NAS of Salerno for the illegal practice of the profession of “counselor”.

The man offered psychological support and counseling to people with personal, work-related or psychological difficulties, even though he did not have the necessary professional qualifications.

There were many citizens who turned to him to deal with specific problems and discomforts. Carabinieri, during a search of his office, they acquired documentation relating to the treatments provided and seized his cell phone.

Further investigations are underway to verify the extent of his alleged illegal professional activities and to identify all those who approached him.
