Naples. A 39-year-old man with a criminal record was arrested yesterday by officers from the Pianura Police Station and the Flying Squad for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, receiving stolen goods and altering weapons.

The arrest occurred as part of an information-investigative activity that led the agents to check the man's home in Pianura.

When the police arrived, the 39-year-old attempted to get rid of a sawn-off shotgun, which was wrapped in a towel, hiding it on a terrace.
