VesuvioSuona: a musical summer at the Urban Park of San Sebastiano al Vesuvio

From July 9 to September 6, 2024, the San Sebastiano al Vesuvio Urban Park will host a series of prestigious concerts and musical events. Tribute to Stevie Wonder: Fabrizio Bosso 4et

On July 9, 2024, Fabrizio Bosso 4et will open the concert series with a tribute to the musical genius of Stevie Wonder, entitled “We Wonder.” The concert setlist will include some of Wonder’s most iconic songs, such as “Another Star,” “Isn’t She Lovely,” and “My Cherie Amour.” The quartet, composed of Fabrizio Bosso on trumpet, Julian Oliver Mazzariello on keyboards, Jacopo Ferrazza on bass, and Nicola Angelucci on drums, will offer a performance full of energy and vitality.

Jazz Stories with Lino Volpe

On July 11, 2024, actor Lino Volpe will take the audience on a fascinating musical narrative with “Fuori Standard – Canzoni e Storie di Jazz”. The show will explore the lives of musical icons such as Charlie Parker, Muddy Waters and Billie Holiday, with the musical accompaniment of Pietro Condorelli 5et. Fiorenza Calogero and the Neapolitan song of the 50s

On July 25, 2024, Fiorenza Calogero will present “Desiderio. Gli anni ’50 della canzone napoletana”, a recital that pays homage to Roberto Murolo and Renato Carosone. The performance will include songs such as “Caravan Petrol”, “Tu vuò fa l’americano” and “Torero”, as well as pieces by Domenico Modugno. This show will offer a nostalgic and fascinating vision of Neapolitan music from the past.

Gegè Telesforo and Afrodance 5et

On August 29, 2024, the stage of the Parco Urbano will be occupied by Afrodance 5et with the special participation of Gegè Telesforo. Amedeo Ariano, together with the Deidda brothers, Pierpaolo Bisogno and Julian Oliver Mazzariello, will present a musical project that mixes jazz and African rhythms.
