Boccia at the top of the Italian Association of Legion of Honor recipients

Vincenzo Boccia, former President of Confindustria and former number one at Luiss Guido Carli University, is the new president of the Italian Association of Legion of Honor recipients.

Named Knight of the Legion of Honor in 2021 'for the work done and the great commitment shown during the years of the presidency of Viale dell'Astronomia in strengthening France-Italy ties between industrialists by placing Italy and the Mediterranean at the center of the dialogue', Boccia takes the place of the economist Anna Maria Tarantola, former deputy director general of the Bank of Italy and former president of Rai, an officer of the Legion of Honor since 2014.

The handover took place yesterday, at Palazzo Farnese, seat of the French Embassy in Italy, in the presence of Ambassador Martin Briens, the outgoing President Anna Maria Tarantola, the new President Boccia, the Ambassador to the Holy See Madame Florence Mangin, the Secretary General Francoise Marie Plantade, the Treasurer Marcel Patrignani, Yvonne Tarabal and Vincenzo Camporini, Gianni Letta, Giampiero Maioli, Umberto Vattani, Gabriele Galateri di Genola.
