Emanuele Tufano murder, many young people questioned and released

Several young people were interviewed at the Police Headquarters throughout yesterday and overnight regarding the murder of 15-year-old Emanuele Tufano. Investigators, coordinated by the Naples Juvenile Prosecutor's Office and the Naples Ordinary Prosecutor's Office, are attempting to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the incident and identify those responsible.

At the moment all the minors, accompanied by their parents and lawyers, after being stopped and questioned have been released. However, it is not excluded that arrests may be carried out in the next few hours.

According to initial reconstructions, Emanuele was involved in a shootout between two groups of very young people. Eyewitnesses and images from security cameras have allowed the identification of some of the participants in the violent fight, including the victim's friends, a 17-year-old and a 14-year-old, both injured and subsequently hospitalized.

Emanuele's death has deeply shaken the Neapolitan community. Once again, violence strikes the youngest, taking an innocent life. At the crime scene this morning signs appeared with the words "Always in our hearts" and then flowers and candles.

Sadness and disbelief, however, are felt in the Sanità neighborhood where Emanuele 's father runs a pizzeria and restaurant in the Borgo Vergini area and where the young victim worked as a mechanic in the afternoons after finishing school.

Many posts and videos on social media dedicated to the young victim Emanuele Tufano, a particularly touching one with a sequence of photos was posted by his best friend: "I constantly ask myself what I could have done differently, each of your last breaths made me feel more broken, more helpless. I couldn't do anything to save you and you took a piece of my heart with you. I will never have another life of mine."
