De Luca calls the majority, meeting on Saturday in Santa Lucia

Next Saturday at 11 am, at Palazzo Santa Lucia, a meeting will take place that promises to be politically sparking.

The majority that holds the reins of the Region Campania will gather in a summit that could shake the foundations of local power. The appointment is set for April 12, a Saturday that may not be like all the others.

The seat of the Region, a place that has seen more intrigues than a television series, will host the group leaders of the majority. It is a strategic meeting, with the president of the Region who, according to an official note, has summoned his most loyal followers.

The group leaders, the real puppeteers behind the scenes of the Regional Council, will meet to discuss who knows what plans. The note from the Region, with its official tone, suggests that it is a routine meeting, but those who know politics know that nothing is ever truly ordinary in these meetings.

The meeting will be held in the most prestigious room of Palazzo Santa Lucia, where the decisions taken could influence the future of Campania. And while citizens go on with their daily lives, the powerful prepare to move their pawns on the political chessboard.

“After the pronouncement of the High, indeed Most High, Court, a political season of high ideal, moral and institutional value opens in Italy”. The President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, this morning released a note on the issue of the rejection by the Constitutional Court of the regional law that assured them the possibility of a third mandate.

“But no one should be distracted from work! - he lists - the first major deadlines are: public initiative on waiting lists; initiative on endometriosis; conference of services and tender for Piazza Garibaldi and the Lighthouse; Eav works contract for Porta Nolana and covering of tracks up to Piazza Garibaldi;

delivery of new trains on the Circumvesuviana; conference of services and tender for the new Santobono; start of work for the Incurabili hospital; start of work for the Castellammare hospital; start of work for the Sessa Aurunca hospital; mayors' meeting for financing road works;

Plus various other interventions”. “The work agenda will be updated monthly”.
