Two of the three foreign victims of the accident that occurred yesterday afternoon at the Monte Faito cable car have also been identified.
In the cabin upstream, which fell for several hundred meters, there were five people, two couples of English and Israeli tourists as well as the engineer.
Those who lost their lives were the on-board operator of the Eav company, Carmine Parlato, 59 years old from Castellammare di Stabia; the Israeli Janan Suliman, 25 years old; the British Margaret Elaine Winn, 58 years old.
The fourth victim is also thought to be a British citizen, but his identity has not yet been confirmed. The other passenger of Israeli origins, who is thought to be around 30 years old, was found without documents and is the only survivor of the accident and is in severe conditions but stable at the Ospedale del Mare in Naples.
In the cabin headed downstream, however, there were ten people travelling, all of whom were saved with the help of a winch a few dozen metres above the Circumvesuviana station in Castellammare Centro.
It is a German family made up of five people, four Erasmus students (two French and two German) and the train driver.
