From the repression of illegality to concrete solidarity. The Guardia di Finanza of Caserta has transformed two important operations against counterfeiting into two initiatives in favor of the most needy, demonstrating that even seized goods can once again become instruments of dignity and help.
The first initiative saw the Pronto Impiego Company of Aversa as the protagonist, which delivered clothes, shoes and accessories to the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. The donation ceremony, hosted at the headquarters of the Company, took place in the presence of the commander of the department, the soldiers involved and a delegation of the Order led by Cavaliere Alessandro Carducci. The material, all from seizures made by the “Baschi Verdi” during operations on the territory, will be destined for people in serious economic difficulty.
A second intervention involved the Piedimonte Matese branch, where over a thousand items of clothing, also subject to administrative seizure, were entrusted to the Caritas of the Diocese of Alife-Caiazzo. The free redistribution will be handled by the charitable organization, identified by the mayor of Alife as a suitable entity to manage this type of donation.
