Castel Volturno, couple arrested with crack: from "wild parking" to drug dealing

Castel Volturno – A simple road check for “wild parking” turned into an arrest for drug dealing Castel Volturno.

The Carabinieri of the local Tenenza stopped a local couple, a 44-year-old and his 33-year-old wife, found in possession of several doses of crack. Both were placed under house arrest.

The episode occurred yesterday evening, May 20. The military, during a routine check, noticed a Matiz parked illegally with an open door. After identifying the woman sitting in the passenger seat, they approached her husband, who was outside a nearby bar.

At that very moment, the officers noticed a suspicious exchange between the two spouses: a package that the woman first tried to hide in her private parts, and then concealed between the backrest and the seat of the car. A movement that did not escape the attention of the Carabinieri, who immediately deepened the check.

The search of the vehicle allowed the recovery of the bag containing 25 single doses of crack, for a total weight of about 7 grams. During the recovery phase of the drug, the man attempted to lunge at the soldiers, who with no small difficulty managed to stop him.

Both spouses, already known to the police for specific precedents, were arrested for possession of narcotics with intent to sell and, pending the subsequent trial phases, were placed under house arrest.
