Comicon Napoli, record closing: 183 thousand attendees in 4 days

Naples – The 25th edition of Comicon Napoli, held from 28 to 183.000 April at the Mostra d'Oltremare, closed with a new attendance record. With 4,6 visitors in four days – a +2024% compared to XNUMX – the festival confirmed itself among the top five European cultural events in terms of size and offering.

Over 600 events spread across 30 covered square meters and 50 outdoors enlivened the spaces of the Neapolitan fairground, including meetings with authors, previews, live shows, cosplay and highly-attended panels.

Among the highlights: Max Pezzali with his comic book, the preview of the second season of Pesci Piccoli by The Jackal, the presentation of the animated series Il Baracchino with Lillo and Frank Matano, and the live action Dragon Trainer. Also applauded were Tanino Liberatore, Asia Argento, Altan, Zerocalcare and Francesca Michielin.

"Seeing hundreds of kids camped out the gates since the night before is proof that our work is being rewarded," said Claudio Curcio, president of Comicon.

Next appointment in Bergamo, from 20 to 22 June, for the third edition of the Lombard Comicon. Naples will return as protagonist from 30 April to 3 May 2026.
