Fiorello: “Rai has declared war on Amadeus. But what did it ever do to him?”

During his daily Instagram live with Fabrizio Biggio, Rosario Fiorello didn't mince his words: "Rai has unleashed a real war against Amadeus. But what did Amadeus ever do to Rai to deserve this?"

The reference, not too veiled, is to the recent extension of Stefano De Martino's show, strategically extended to counter the new television adventure of the former face of Sanremo, who has moved to Nove. Fiorello, with his usual sharp irony, added: "Let him rest, that boy! What fault is it of his? They're squeezing him like a lemon to chase Amadeus!"

The chat, with a light-hearted but biting tone, reiterated a concept that many think but few say out loud: between schedules, retaliations and counter-programming, the only one who seems to retain a bit of common sense is the Sicilian showman. And it is certainly not the first time that Fiorello has exposed himself publicly to defend TV from logics that have little to do with healthy entertainment.
