Naples, Borrelli reports Rita De Crescenzo: “Threatened via social media, I won’t let myself be intimidated”

Naples – "I will not be intimidated by threats and verbal attacks": this is what the Green-Sinister Alliance MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli said, announcing that he has filed a complaint against the Neapolitan tiktoker Rita De Crescenzo for some serious statements made about him via social media.

Among the incriminating messages, there is also a video in which De Crescenzo states: «I must be your nightmare, you must dream of me at night. The time has come for me to destroy you». An escalation of tone that pushed Borrelli to turn to the authorities: «I have asked for urgent intervention so that any criminal liability for incitement to violence and apology of organized crime is assessed».

The clash between the two flared up again in recent days, during the sit-in in front of the Port Authority of Naples, over the issue of concessions to illegal moorers between Mergellina and via Caracciolo.

De Crescenzo claimed the payment of fines for the abuses committed over the years, while Borrelli reiterated: "We want transparency on those who have exploited the public sea for private interests." The case is now being examined by investigators.
