Naples, tomorrow procession of San Gennaro: the traffic device

Naples – On the occasion of the solemn Translation of the relics of San Gennaro, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 3 May, the Municipality of Naples has prepared a temporary traffic regulation device in the historic center.

Starting at 16:00 pm, vehicular traffic will be prohibited in the streets affected by the procession route, which will wind from via Duomo (height of the Cathedral) to continue along via San Biagio dei Librai, piazzetta Nilo, piazza San Domenico Maggiore and end in via Benedetto Croce, at the Church of Santa Chiara (courtyard).

Starting from 13:00 p.m. and until the need ceases, changes are planned for parking in via Duomo, in the section between via Tribunali and piazzetta San Giuseppe dei Ruffi. In this area, paid parking spaces (blue lines), motorcycle parking, spaces reserved for loading/unloading goods and taxis will be suspended. At the same time, the ban on parking with forced removal will be in force.

Citizens are invited to pay attention to signs and plan alternative routes to avoid inconvenience during the religious event.
