Nocera Inferiore, 9 shots fired at the car of a 30-year-old with no criminal record

Nocera Inferiore – A disturbing episode of intimidation has shaken the Citola district of Nocera Superiore last night. Nine gunshots were fired at the car of a 30-year-old man, who was found by law enforcement to have no criminal record.

The alarm was raised in the morning, when the owner of the vehicle discovered the unmistakable signs of the attack. The Carabinieri of the Territorial Department of Nocera Inferiore, led by Commander Gianfranco Albanese, immediately intervened on the spot and began investigations to shed light on the incident.

The victim, interviewed by investigators, was unable to provide useful information to clarify the motive for this act. The man stated that he had not received any threats and that he could not explain who could have committed such an act.

The vehicle, riddled with bullets, was seized to allow forensic experts to carry out ballistic tests and find any traces useful for the investigation. Investigators are not ruling out any hypothesis at this time, including that the shots may have been fired from two different weapons.

The Carabinieri investigations are continuing in an attempt to identify the perpetrators of the raid and to understand the context in which this worrying episode in the Nocera community took place.
