Neapolitan taxi drivers pressuring the Municipality: “New traffic plan and stop illegal traffic immediately”

Naples – A delegation of taxi drivers knocked on the doors of the Municipality today, during the Meeting on Mobility organized at Maschio Angioino, to request urgent interventions on traffic congestion and the fight against illegal activities.

Requests to the Municipality

In front of the councilor Edoardo Cosenza and the president of the Transport Commission, they presented a document with the priorities:
Restoration of the ZTLs in the historic center
Tight fight against illegal taxis
Clear rules for extra-provincial NCC (rental with driver)
Traffic plan to decongest the city

"We need more efficient and sustainable mobility," explained the category representatives. "Naples is exhausted."

The meeting with Manfredi: “Soon a dedicated table”

On the sidelines of the event, Mayor Gaetano Manfredi received the taxi drivers, ensuring an official meeting in the coming weeks to address the critical issues. "Problems already raised in the Prefecture and the Municipality, but we need answers," the taxi drivers replied.
