The 22nd theatrical season of the Teatro Delle Arti, directed by Claudio Tortora, was presented this morning in the Salone del Gonfalone of the Municipality of Salerno, in the presence of the Mayor Vincenzo Napoli, the Councilor Alessandro Ferrara (Tourism and Culture) and the Director of the Teatro Pubblico Campano Alfredo Balsamo.

An important moment for the city and regional culture, which confirmed the value and centrality of the Teatro Delle Arti in the cultural life of Salerno. The 2025/2026 program confirms itself among the richest and most varied of the Campania scene, with 10 subscription shows and 3 non-subscription events, bringing on stage great names of Italian theater and an artistic proposal capable of ranging from comedy to contemporary prose, from civil theater to music, with an eye always attentive to current events.
“We are very satisfied with the program of this 22nd season, which represents the fruit of constant and passionate work. Teatro Delle Arti continues to grow, both in terms of quality of proposals and audience. This year too we want to offer spectators shows that excite, make them think and entertain”, declared artistic director Claudio Tortora.
• October 25th and 26th – “A bridge for 2”
Brilliant comedy with Paolo Caiazzo and Antonello Costa, about the meeting/clash between two opposing worlds forced to coexist.
• November 8 and 9 – “The Swimmer of Auschwitz”
Raoul Bova in an intense text, inspired by a true story, written and directed by Luca De Bei.
• November 15th and 16th – “90s”
Massimiliano Gallo recounts the decade of excesses and transformations, through memories, irony and music.
• December 13th and 14th – “Until the judge do us part”
Biagio Izzo stars in a scathing comedy about marriage and its crises.
• January 10th and 11th – “Welcome to the Esposito family”
With Giovanni Esposito and directed by Alessandro Siani, a hilarious comedy based on the novel by Pino Imperatore.
• January 24th and 25th – “Romeo + Juliet”
The Compagnia dell'Arte reinterprets Shakespeare in a modern key, directed by Antonello Ronga.
• February 14th and 15th – “Something Went Wrong”
The return of Carlo Buccirosso with a new comedy written and directed by him.
• February 28 and March 1 – “The Master”
Nancy Brilli stars in a current and intense domestic drama. Directed by Pierluigi Iorio.
• 7 and 8 March – “Jucature”
Antonio Milo and Adriano Falivene tell the obsession of the game in a human and engaging comedy.
• March 21st and 22nd – “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner”
Cesare Bocci and Vittoria Belvedere bring to the stage a great classic on the theme of cultural differences.
Non-subscription shows:

Extraordinary preview before the official debut.
• December 12 – “Until the judge do us part”
Extraordinary replica outside of the subscription.
• Date to be defined – “Taste of the sea”
The musical by Paolo Ruffini and Fatima Trotta, directed by Maurizio Colombi, which brings to life the summer of the 60s in Forte dei Marmi.
During the presentation, a special event was also announced to celebrate the sixty-year career of Claudio Tortora, a central figure in the Salerno and Campania theater scene. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 10 at 20:30 p.m. at the Teatro Delle Arti, with a celebratory show with free admission, by invitation to be collected at the theater box office.
Furthermore, on Thursday 8 May at 11:30 am, in the Mayor's room at the Palazzo di Città, the official ceremony of delivery of a commemorative plaque to Claudio Tortora by the Municipality of Salerno will be held, in recognition of the long and significant artistic and cultural journey undertaken during his career.
A season that promises to be characterized by quality, audience involvement and a fitting tribute to a protagonist of Campanian theatre.
All shows will be performed on Saturday at 20pm and on Sunday at 45pm.
The cost of the season ticket for the 10 shows is 280 euros, reduced to 240 euros for Cral.
Season tickets can be purchased at the Teatro Delle Arti box office (via Guerino Grimaldi 7) every day from 17:00 pm to 20:30 pm.
