Camorra, assets worth 42 million euros seized from entrepreneur linked to the Puca clan

Naples – A huge seizure of almost 42 million euro was carried out against a 63 year old entrepreneur from Campania, already definitively sentenced for external competition in Camorra association e fraudulent transfer of values, aggravated by the mafia method.

The provision was issued by the Preventive Measures Section of the Court of Naples, at the request of District Anti-Mafia Directorate Neapolitan, at the end of a detailed investigation conducted by the Nuclei of Economic and Financial Police of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples and Bologna.

According to what has emerged from the investigations, the entrepreneur - currently detained in the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere – managed several companies registered under front names, used for speculative real estate transactions aimed at money laundering of illicit capital Puca clan, active in the municipalities of Sant'Antimo, Casandrino and Grumo Nevano, but with ramifications also in Emilia Romagna.

The economic and patrimonial analyses have highlighted, in the period between 1998 and 2025, an absolute disproportion between the declared income – often absent or negligible – and the huge accumulated wealth, consisting of financial assets, company shares and real estate assets.

The seizure order concerned in particular:

• the shares of 6 company;

• 126 properties and lands located in the provinces of Ravenna, Caserta and Frosinone;

• 6 luxury cars;

• and numerous banking relationships attributable to the entrepreneur.

The operation is part of the initiatives to combat the infiltration of organized crime into the economic and productive fabric, with the aim of attacking the assets illegally accumulated by mafia groups.
